Furnace and Footprint?
I know on the Guildwars site it's stated that Sorrow's Furnace and Grenth's Footprint, the new explorable areas, will be released soon, but does anyone know a specific date? My friend and I explored the whole area from Camp Rankor to Lornar's Pass and found a building with a shrine to Grenth. It's the most likely spot to me, so does anyone know when these new areas are to be released? Thanks

actually last week it stated the release of the two was coming in 1-2 weeks
straight from E3 report last week ------------------------- - the game has topped the charts across Europe and in the US, with similar success seen in the Korean beta with over 500,000 accounts created. - Content creation continues, with plans to utilize the live streaming technology to add updates to GW throughout the Summer. Planned additions include everything from items, to monsters, to new areas and more. - Full features are in the works too. One example is the Observer mode technology slated for a Summer release, allowing users to watch matches between teams in HoH, GvG, etc. - The two new explorable areas, Sorrow's Furance and Grenth's Footprint, are scheduled to be released in approximately 2-3 weeks, marking what will be the largest live update to Guild Wars yet. - The second "chapter" of Guild Wars is already underway, with a very loose estimated release of the first half of 2006. According to Jeff Strain, it's very likely that players will be offered a preview of chapter prior to its release. - On the competitive front there's some serious developments. Within the next two- three weeks there should be a full release of details on an upcoming global tournament that is scheduled to kick off during the Summer. From the sound of it, plans are for the tournament to run through to some point in Fall, but full details are forthcoming. --------------------------------------------- Last edited by stumpy; Jun 03, 2005 at 07:31 PM // 19:31.. |
